A mind of its own

What I did not previously understand - as a non-mo bro - was that a moustache takes on a life of its own. A moustache is not merely hair that hugs the skin between the lip and the nose, it has its own personality. It takes its own form, grows as its own pace, has its own colour. My mo is rough, like a long prickly sheet of sandpaper. The first few days it grew very quickly, but has since become shy. And surprisingly, my mo is multi-coloured; the red above the lip cascades into blond at the side of the mouth, eventually morphing into a dark brown/black toward the chin.
